Tecno is going to launch its next curve pioneer, Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G On February 13. As the launch approaches, Tecno started teasing the device, and new details are surfacing. The latest teaser reveals it would feature the largest battery ever in a Tecno phone.
Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G outpaces competitors in battery capacity
The teaser reveals that the Pova Curve 2 5G would feature an 8xxx mAh battery, indicating to arrive with at least an 8,000mAh battery. According to the listing, it is far ahead of its competitor, featuring this massive battery.
Tecno claimed this battery can last up to two days on one charge. However, despite featuring a large battery, it will come with a slim design. The teaser confirmed it will surely be less than 8mm in thickness and less than 200g in weight.
Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G Design and Specifications
Official teasers confirm that the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G features a curved matte-finish back panel with lines and contours similar to the earlier Pova Curve 5G.
A major camera redesign stands out. The Pova Curve 2 5G drops the vertical camera layout from the previous model. Instead, it features a triangular, uneven camera island. Two lenses sit inside a horizontal pill-shaped module. A third lens appears separately below, with an LED flash placed beside it. The back panel also carries Pova branding and regulatory text.
Tecno has confirmed that the Pova Curve 2 5G will launch in three colour options: black, silver, and violet. Each variant features a small accent area near the bottom of the rear panel with a semi-transparent pattern.
