Samsung Galaxy A37 Surface on Geekbench and Spotted on India’s BIS certification

Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A37, has begun appearing early ahead of its official launch. Now, the device has been spotted on Geekbench and India’s BIS certification database. Therefore, this signals that the launch timeline may be drawing closer.
Geekbench Performance
The Samsung Galaxy A37 has achieved single-core and multi-core scores of 1,158 and 3,401, respectively, on Geekbench. This represents a modest yet notable performance upgrade. In fact, the A37 becomes the first Galaxy A3x-series model to surpass the 1,100 single-core and 3,000 multi-core milestones. This shows improvement over the Galaxy A36.

The benchmark listing also confirms that the tested unit has 6GB of RAM. This suggests that Samsung will continue to offer balanced performance for everyday multitasking and mid-range use.
BIS Certification in India
Adding to the momentum, the Samsung Galaxy A37 has been spotted on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website with the model number SM-A376E/DS. This confirms dual-SIM support and strongly hints at an India launch in the near future.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A57 had also appeared in earlier certifications. This suggests that Samsung may be preparing a broader refresh of its Galaxy A lineup.

Possible Launch
If Samsung plans to ship the Galaxy A37 with One UI 8.5 out of the box, the launch could be pushed to late March or early April. As always, the final timeline will depend on Samsung’s software readiness and regional rollout strategy.
What to Expect
While Samsung has yet to officially confirm details, early sightings suggest the Galaxy A37 will bring:
- Improved CPU performance over previous A3x models
- At least a 6GB RAM variant
- India launch confirmed via BIS
- Potential delay if One UI 8.5 is included at launch
For now, all eyes are on Samsung as we wait for an official announcement. Stay tuned for more updates as the Samsung Galaxy A37 approaches launch.
