Redmi K90 series to launch this month with new Pro Max variant

Redmi will launch the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi K90 series in China sometime this month. The launch was anticipated in November. However, thanks to Redmi, they scheduled the launch this month. Ahead of the launch, we’ve got new information about the inclusion of a Pro Max variant in this series.

Courtesy to Xiaomi President Lu Weibing’s Weibo post, the Redmi K90 series will have a new Pro Max variant this year. The model is claimed to be a ‘true flagship’.

Redmi confirms, the K90 Pro Max price will be above CNY 4,000 ($560). It seems the Redmi K90 series will have a base K90 variant and a K90 Pro Max variant. So, there won’t be any Pro variant in this series.

Redmi K90 Pro Max may sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and the K90 may have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC under the hood. Rumor claims, the K90 series will have a periscope telephoto camera.
