Poco M8 5G Launched: 120Hz AMOLED Display, 108MP Camera, Military-Grade Build
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco launched its latest mid-range smartphone, Poco M8 5G, in India. This device is promised to deliver balanced and durable performance. This amazing smartphone arrives with a slim design, AMOLED display, mid-range Snapdragon processor, and high-resolution cameras.

The Poco M8 5G sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. It measures 164 x 75.42 x 7.35mm in dimensions and weighs 178 g.
Ensuring the durability of the Poco M8 5G, there will be MIL-STD-810H certified military-grade protection against high falls. For dust and water protection, it will offer IP65 and IP66 ratings.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot with support for up to 1TB. This device runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 and offers four years of OS updates along with six years of security patches for long-term use.
The Poco M8 5G features a dual camera setup, including a 108MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it sports a 20MP selfie camera. For power, it has a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, along with 18W wired reverse charging.
Among other features and connectivity, there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port.

Poco prices the M8 5G at Rs 21,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The 8GB+128GB model costs Rs 22,999. The top-end 8GB+256GB version costs Rs 24,999. It comes in Glacier Blue, Black, and Frost Silver.
Sales start on January 13. Buyers can purchase it via Flipkart and offline stores. ICICI Bank card users get an instant Rs 2,000 discount. Buyers can also get exchange benefits up to Rs 20,000 and no-cost EMI for up to six months.
