Poco M7 Plus launched, joined by Poco M7 4G in Poland, surprisingly
Hey guys, here we come with great news for the Poco users and well-wishers. Just a few hours ago, Poco launched the Poco M7 series in Poland. But here it comes with a little bit of surprise- it has introduced the Poco M7 4G variant, not the 5G, along with a plus variant. Yeah, this series has come with two variants- Poco M7 4G and Poco M7 Plus. Let’s check what we are getting with this duo.
Poco M7 Plus Specifications
Poco M7 Plus features a 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 550 nits brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display features a punch-hole cutout for the 8 MP front camera. The Poco M7 Plus 5G comes with an IP64 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster, weighing 217g.
The M7 Plus is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It will also have a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 2TB. The device operates on Android 15 with HyperOS and will get two years of OS upgrades along with four years of security updates. It also comes with Google Gemini preinstalled.
The Poco M7 Plus has a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. Following the trend of brands promoting the “slimmest” devices in certain segments, Poco claims it is the thinnest phone with a 7,000mAh battery, measuring only 8.4mm thick.
On the camera setup, the Poco M7 Plus has an 8 MP front camera, a 50 MP primary sensor, and an unknown secondary unit on the back. It brings some exciting AI features, such as AI Dynamic Shot, AI Eraser, and AI Sky replacement.
It is offered in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver shades in India. Pricing begins at INR 13,999 ($160) for the 6GB/128GB version, while the 8GB/128GB option will cost INR 14,999 ($170). Sales in India start on August 19.
Poco M7 4G Specifications
The Poco M7 4G also sports a 6.9-inch 1080×2340 LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 288Hz touch sampling rate, and 850-nit peak brightness. It measures 171.08 x 82.05 x 8.55 mm and weighs 224g. This device is also IP64 rated like the Plus variant for water resistance.
It has a 50 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 1080p video recording support, and an 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording.
The Poco M7 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 685 4G SoC and paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. It will also have a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 2TB. The M7 4G runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.
The M7 4G features a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. But the phone isn’t sold with a charger in the box (at least in Europe). There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
