Nothing Phone (4a) & (4a) Pro Leaks: Display, Camera, Performance, Price & Release date

Nothing is preparing for its next major launch, reportedly set for March 5, 2026, at 11:30 AM (French time). The company is expected to unveil multiple devices, including the Nothing Phone (4a), the higher-end Phone (4a) Pro, and the Nothing Headphone (a).
Although Nothing has officially confirmed the launch yet, and the announcement is still some time away, early details have already started circulating online. According to recent leaks shared by billbil-kun through Dealabs, much of the lineup’s key information has surfaced, covering hardware specifications, available models, and anticipated price points.
Display
Both models in the Phone (4a) series are expected to receive notable screen upgrades, with the Pro version leading the way. The Phone (4a) Pro is rumored to sport a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a fluid 144Hz refresh rate. This would mark a step up in both size and smoothness compared to the previous generation. Leaks also hint at a new Glyph Matrix lighting system, potentially expanding Nothing’s signature LED interface into a more dynamic notification and visual experience.

The standard Phone (4a) is said to feature a slightly smaller 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel. Unlike the fixed high refresh rate of the Pro, this display may use an adaptive refresh system that scales between 30Hz and 120Hz, helping balance smooth visuals with improved power efficiency.
Performance
Performance improvements are also on the cards, particularly for the regular Phone (4a). A recent Geekbench listing suggests the Phone (4a) will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. This chip should bring faster performance for daily tasks and smoother gaming. Battery life is expected to improve, and the device may support 50W fast charging.
The Pro model may further benefit from a unibody aluminum frame, a design choice that could help with thermal management during sustained workloads.
Camera

Camera upgrades appear to be a major focus this year, especially for the Pro variant. The Phone (4a) Pro is rumored to feature a 50MP primary sensor from Sony, paired with optical image stabilization and digital zoom capabilities reaching up to 140x.
Meanwhile, the standard Phone (4a) is rumored to feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup. It should offer a 0.6x ultra-wide lens and zoom up to 70x. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is expected for selfies and video calls. Both models will likely keep Nothing’s signature transparent design. The regular Phone (4a) may also get a redesigned Glyph Bar with 63 mini-LEDs for notifications and lighting effects.
Storage and Colors
Nothing appears to be clearly separating the two models through memory options and finishes. The standard Phone (4a) is expected to launch with 256GB of storage across the board. Buyers may choose between 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Black and White should be available for both versions. Meanwhile, Pink and Blue may remain exclusive to the 12GB model.
The Phone (4a) Pro is rumored to follow a different strategy. It may debut in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Both variants are expected in Black and Silver. Pink, once again, could be limited to the higher-end option.
Pricing
Prices are expected to climb compared to the previous generation. In markets like France, Belgium, and Italy, the Phone (4a) with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage may start at €409. The 12GB version could reach €449.
In Germany and Spain, pricing may be slightly lower. There, the same models are expected to start at €389 and €429.
The Phone (4a) Pro is likely to begin at €499 for the 8GB/128GB variant in France, Belgium, and Italy, and €479 in Germany and Spain. The top-tier 12GB/256GB version may rise to €569 and €549, respectively.
Availability
Nothing is expected to roll out the standard Phone (4a) first. Current reports point to a release date of March 12, 2026. The Pro model may follow shortly after, with availability rumored around March 26.
