Motorola Edge 70 Fusion teased on Flipkart, hinting at an Imminent launch in India

Motorola has only teased an upcoming Edge-series smartphone in India without officially revealing its name. However, the hints, especially the repeated use of the word “fusion” and visuals of a sleek handset in vibrant, textured finishes, left little room for doubt. Putting an end to the speculation, Flipkart has now confirmed that the device is indeed the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion and has also disclosed several of its key specifications, clearly signaling an imminent India launch.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion key specs

The Flipkart webpage unveiled that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is launching as the world’s first phone with a 50MP Sony LYT-710 primary camera. A key highlight of the Edge 70 Fusion’s design is its luxurious fabric finish. Which is complemented by Pantone™-curated colours that give the phone a premium and distinctive look.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features India’s only 144Hz 1.5K True Color quad-curved display. It also packs the biggest battery in Edge history, offering up to 52 hours of usage on a single charge.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will launch in India in three colors: Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette.

While earlier global leaks hinted at up to five Pantone shades, including Orient Blue and Sporting Green. It seems India will receive a more limited color lineup at launch.

According to past leaks, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will feature a 6.78″ display with 5200nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The primary camera will be joined by a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP selfie camera on the front. Among other features, it would have a Snapdragon 7sGen4, up to 12GB RAM, Android 16, and IP69/68 rating

Launch timeline
