iQOO15 to launch on October 20, key specifications revealed

Vivo’s iQOO was working on the iQOO 15 for a while. Today, we have got the official confirmation about its launch with some key specifications. iQOO 15 is launching on October 20 at 7:00 PM in China. Let’s check the full details here.
iQOO 15 with a 7000mAh battery, 100W wired, and 40W wireless charging support
iQOO 15 will feature a 7000mAh Blue Ocean battery. It uses a single-cell structure inside. iQOO officially claims this single-cell layout will be more durable and offer more energy density than the common dual-cell design. This device supports 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. It also supports PPS and PD fast-charging standards with a power output of up to 55W.

iQOO 15 will come with a new Global Direct Power Supply 2.0 system. This will be like the bypass charging feature of Realme, which allows the phone to stay cool while charging and gaming simultaneously.

The company also shared impressive performance results. In a 30-minute heavy map test on an open-world game at 60 fps with ultra-high graphics, the phone kept a 1% low frame rate of 57.8 fps. iQOO says this stability comes from its Monster Supercore Engine, which fully unlocks the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. The processor works with iQOO’s custom Q3 e-sports chip and supports full-scenario ray tracing for enhanced visuals.
Among other specs, iQOO 15 features a 6.8-inch flat 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3200 touch sampling rate. On the rear camera panel, the iQOO 15 will have a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.5-inch size and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with a 1/2-inch size, 70mm focal length, and 3X optical zoom.
The device also includes a large 8K VC Ice Dome cooling system, dual stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IP-rated body for water resistance.
