Honor Magic 8 Series Launches with MagicOS 10, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 7000mAh Battery

Honor Magic 8 Series Specifications
Display
The Honor Magic 8 features a 6.58-inch 120Hz OLED LTPO display with 1256 x 2808 pixels resolution, and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. In contrast, the Magic 8 Pro sports a larger 6.71-inch OLED LTPO display with the same display specs as the base variant.
Honor has included a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner as well underneath the display.
Chipset and OS
Both the Magic 8 duo are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. This series runs on MagicOS 10 with AI-packed features and the Yoyo agent. A customizable AI button gives quick access to the assistant and other actions with a long-press.
Camera
The Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro both have a triple camera setup on the back. The Magic 8 sports a 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 64MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. The Magic 8 Pro steps it up with a 200MP telephoto sensor (1/1.4-inch, f/2.6) supporting 3.7x optical zoom and OIS, a 50MP primary camera (1/1.3-inch, f/1.6, OIS), and a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 122° field of view.
On the front, both of them have a 50MP selfie camera with a 3D depth camera sensor for face unlock (only for the pro variant).
Battery
The Honor Magic8 features a 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support. While the Magic 8 Pro comes with a 7,200mAh Si-C battery in China, and with a 6,270mAh battery in the EU region. It supports up to 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

The Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro both come in three colors: Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black.
Both Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro are now available for pre-order in China, with sales starting on October 23.
