But the brand hit the jackpot on the first try. According to DxOMark, the Pixel Fold model from the dominant Search Engine has ascended to the top of both the Ultra-premium and Global rankings. The handset outperformed every other smartphone the company has tested, earning 151 points in the display test.

The display’s ability to accurately depict colors under most lighting conditions won accolades. Additionally, it delivered an excellent HDR10 video experience and provided outstanding brightness levels under most lighting circumstances.

The readability, colors, and viewing experience were all highly praised, with the main drawback of the screen being a lack of brightness after a short period of outside use. Although the gadget performed so well in the display test, it failed to place in the top 20 in the camera test. Just 133 points were earned by The Pixel Fold, placing it in 28th place overall.

However, generally, it was still a decent smartphone for taking pictures. It’s interesting to note that the Google Pixel Fold won the DxOMark display test while many consumers complained about problems with the device’s screen. Owners of the gadget have voiced complaints regarding internal display problems that, in some circumstances, are causing the display to break down or even die.
