Google Pixel 7 series upcoming details has leaked

We’re now moving to feline themes, it appears. This suggests that Google is changing its codename scheme to Pixels with each generation until it is out of pets, which is likely. This could take some time however. The last piece of information that released today is about an additional Pixel codename that’s attached to the Exynos Modem 5300 it’s Ravenclaw.

This could be an actual Hogwarts reference, but nothing else, but it could be more intriguing. In the year 2000, when Tensor was the very first Tensor was in development, Google tried it out internally by substituting the Snapdragon 765 chip in certain Pixel 5 units with the Tensor. The models were codenamed Whitefin A mashup that combines “white” from “Whitechapel” which which is the Tensor project’s codename, as well as “fin” for “Redfin” the Pixel 5’s codename.

The same is true for speculation that “Raven” in “Ravenclaw” is referring to the Pixel 6 Pro and “claw” is an animal reference and in that case, this is an actual Pixel 6 Pro device with Pixel 7 innards, created to test the Pixel 7. There’s certainly plenty of time before it’s time for the Pixel 7 generation officially launches and for the rumors such as these to confirmed through further speculation and details. Or , not.
