Apple now manufacturing iPhone 13 in India. Apple has begun producing its iPhone 13 locally in India at an Foxconn factory near Chennai. This news follows earlier reports confirmed that Cupertino has begun trials of manufacturing the iPhone 13 in India back in December.

Apple also produces earlier models in India including iPhone 12, the iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and iPhone SE (2020) and believed to produce about 70% of devices that it sells to India locally. There are reports that suggest that an iPhone 13 Pro series is the next to produced in India.
One of the major reasons for smartphone makers to build their products in India is the possibility of saving on import duties , which can include an import tax of 20. Apple believed to be moving around 20 percent in iPhone production out of China in the near future to India soon.
