Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 and Note 17 Pro Specifications Surface Online Before Launch
Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Redmi Note 17 series in China on July 14. Just days before the official announcement, the complete specifications of the Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro have surfaced online. The leaked details suggest that Xiaomi is focusing on massive batteries, OLED displays, improved durability, and solid mid-range performance. Additionally, Xiaomi has officially confirmed several key features ahead of launch. Meanwhile, additional specifications have emerged through recent leaks.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This will deliver smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The display is reportedly protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. However, the phone uses a plastic frame.
Under the hood, the device is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. This is said to offer performance similar to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. However, it does not support 4K video recording.
One of the biggest highlights is the massive 9,000mAh battery, paired with 67W fast charging. This promises exceptional battery life. The phone is also rumored to feature IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings. Consequently, it may be one of the most durable devices in its segment.
For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to include:

The smartphone is rumored to be powered by either the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, depending on the market. It is expected to come with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The Redmi Note 17 is tipped to pack an 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Additional features include an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and a plastic frame.
Launch Date and Availability
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 17 series will launch in China on July 14. The company is expected to introduce both the Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro during the launch event.
The series is also expected to arrive in India at a later date. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 17 carrying model number 2607DRA18I has already appeared on the BIS certification website. This hints that the Indian launch may not be far away.
