Vivo X Fold 6, Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 leaks surface, launch timeline hinted

The foldable phone race is picking up pace. After recent launches like the Honor Magic V6 from Honor and the Oppo Find N6 from Oppo, attention is now shifting to what’s next. New leaks point toward upcoming foldables from Vivo and Xiaomi, both expected to arrive in the coming months.
Vivo X Fold 6 and Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 key details tipped online
Starting with Vivo, the rumored Vivo X Fold 6 is shaping up to be a major upgrade. According to leaks from Digital Chat Station and Bald Panda, the device could pack a massive 7,000mAh battery, which would be one of the largest in any foldable. It is also expected to feature a 200MP primary camera, further pushing imaging capabilities. Despite these upgrades, Vivo may still keep the device slim and lightweight.
Performance could be handled by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Since the Vivo X Fold 5 launched in June last year, a similar launch window is possible for its successor.

On the other side, Xiaomi is also preparing its next foldable. The name is not final yet, as it could launch as either the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 or Xiaomi 17 Fold. What stands out is the rumored use of Xiaomi’s in-house silicon, possibly called Xring O3. Details about this chip remain limited, but it is expected to bring improvements over the previous generation.

As for timing, leaks suggest Xiaomi may target a Q3 launch window. With the Xiaomi 18 series expected around September, the foldable could arrive earlier, likely in July. More leaks should surface soon as both brands prepare for their next foldable launches.
