Vivo V80 launch date confirmed along with key specs and color options
Vivo is teasing the Vivo V80 for India for a couple of days. After the launch of the Vivo X500 series in China, the company is confirmed to launch the Vivo V80 in India on October 6 at 12 PM in India. Alongside the launch date, they also confirmed some of its key specifications.
Vivo V80 Key Specifications
The Vivo V80 will feature a 6.59″ 144Hz OLED display with 5,000 nits peak brightness and 1.5K resolution. This device will run on Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box, making it the first phone with OriginOS 7 outside China.
The rear camera setup will feature triple cameras co-engineered with ZEISS. The setup will include a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP Night Telephoto camera, and an Ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there will be a 50MP ZEISS-powered selfie camera also. For video recording, the V80 will support 4K Cinematic Video and 4K recording at 60fps with OIS. In India, Vivo will also offer AI Diwali Portrait 2.0 and a Diwali Frame.
The Vivo V80 will feature a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W charging support. It will come in three colors: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black. Indian users will also get 100GB of cloud storage free for six months with the Google One Standard Plan.
