Vivo T5x 5G launching on March 17 in India with a massive 7,200mAh battery

Vivo’s next budget-friendly smartphone, the Vivo T5x 5G, will launch on March 17, 2025. The device will feature a massive 7,200mAh battery, which the company calls the “segment’s biggest battery.” To achieve this large capacity without making the phone too bulky, Vivo uses silicon-carbon battery technology.

In your budget, Vivo T5x 5G offers a 6.72-inch 120HZ IPS panel. It may have IP68 and IP69 ratings for Water and Dust protection.
The T5x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor, impressivley scored 1million+ on the AnTuTu benchmark test. So, in spite of being a budget device, Vivo is offering top-notch, smooth performance. The device will run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. It is also expected to receive two major Android version upgrades and up to four years of security updates.
On the rear panel, it would have a dual camera setup featuring a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor. On the front, there would be a 32MP selfie shooter, which is a major upgrade over the T4x’s 8MP selfie snapper. The phone supports 44W wired fast charging. It also may offer reverse wired charging and bypass charging.
Vivo has not revealed the pricing yet. However, early hints suggest the T5x 5G may launch under Rs 23,000. After the announcement, buyers will find it on Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store, and retail stores across India.
