Tecno Camon Air launched in Bangladesh: 144Hz AMOLED, Slim Design, IP69 Rating, But No 5G
Tecno launched its latest device, Tecno Camon Air, in Bangladesh with a slim design on 29 August. This device arrived with a stylish look, featuring key specifications like a 144Hz AMOLED display, a unique rear Mini-LED matrix, a 50MP primary camera, IP68/IP69 protection, and MIL-STD-810H durability. The setback is that it lacks 5G connectivity.
Design and Display
The Tecno Camon Air features an ultra-clear 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 2160Hz PWM dimming. This display features waterproof case touch and rain touch.
It comes with a stylish, ultra-slim 3D-curved design built with a fiberglass back and features a unique rear Mini-LED matrix on the back. It measures 162.8 x 77.7 x 6.4 mm in dimensions and weighs just 167g.
Performance
The Tecno Camon Air is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity G200 Ultimate (6 nm) processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB/256 GB internal storage. There would be 16GB of extended RAM for users.
For the Operating software, the Camon Air comes with Android 16 based on HIOS 16.3. Tecno promises 5-year 3-generation android OS updates.
Camera
Tecno Camon Air features a single 50MP(1/1.95″) primary rear camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, it sports a 32MP selfie camera. For photography features, it offers super-zoom flash-snap, flash-snap 2.0, super night mode, multi focal length portraits, underwater photography and live photo captures.
Battery, Durability, and other features
The Camon Air sports a 5600 mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with 60W fast charging support. For endurance, this device comes with IP68/IP69 dust-tight and water-resistant (high-pressure water jets; submersible up to 2m for 30 min)and is MIL-STD-810H compliant for high-drop testing.
Other features include an under-display fingerprint (optical), accelerometer, gyro, geomagnetic, compass, WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0, and Tecno AI features. A major drawback of this device is that it doesn’t support 5G connectivity.

The Tecno Camon Air comes in three color options: Prism Black, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red. It is available in two storage options: 8GB/128GB and 8GB /256GB. The 8GB/128GB variant costs BDT 44,999+VAT, and the 8GB/256GB variant is available for BDT 49,999+VAT.
