Google Pixel 11 Pro design revealed

Popular tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared the latest promotional images after previously leaking marketing materials for the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The images show that the Pixel 11 Pro retains Google’s familiar design language while introducing a few noticeable changes. The smartphone features the new Pixel Glow RGB LED light on the rear panel, which Google may use for notifications and other visual alerts.

The camera island also receives a slight redesign. Unlike the previous generation, the entire camera bar now uses a glass finish, replacing the exposed metal section on the right side. The camera module also appears slightly thicker than the Pixel 10 Pro, although Google has yet to confirm the dimensions.

Tensor G6 and 120x digital zoom confirmed

The leaked marketing materials also confirm several key specifications. The Pixel 11 Pro will run on Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, which could power the entire Pixel 11 lineup.

Additionally, Google has confirmed that the phone’s telephoto camera will support up to 120x digital zoom.

The promotional images also continue to highlight Gemini Intelligence, suggesting that Google’s AI-powered features will remain one of the biggest selling points of the Pixel 11 series.

Google will officially unveil the Pixel 11 series, including the Pixel 11 Pro, on August 12, where the company is expected to reveal full specifications, pricing, and availability

According to the leak, the Google Tensor G6 could use TSMC’s advanced 2nm process. Google may also introduce a new 7-core CPU architecture alongside LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage support.

Tensor G6 May Focus Heavily on AI and Security

The leak further reveals that Google could equip the chipset with a dual TPU setup for improved AI processing and on-device machine learning tasks. The chip may also feature the new Titan M3 security chip for enhanced protection and privacy features.

Google is also expected to introduce a new “Metis” image signal processor (ISP) with the chipset, which could improve image processing and camera performance across the upcoming Pixel lineup.

Interestingly, the GPU may use the Imagination Technologies PowerVR CXTP architecture, originally introduced back in 2021. Reports suggest that Google could optimize the GPU heavily for its own AI and software ecosystem.

At the moment, Google has not officially confirmed the details of the Google Tensor G6. However, reports suggest that the Pixel 11 series could launch in August 2026.

Pixel 8a Uscellular’s listings

Evan Blass quickly noticed the Pixel 8a on UScellular’s website. The carrier had posted a tutorial for the device but removed it soon after.

Blass captured a screenshot showing the Obsidian color variant, along with Porcelain, Bay, and Mint.

The Pixel 8a seems to have a different design compared to the Pixel 7a. It has curvier edges and thicker bezels. The back of the device wasn’t revealed in the carrier listing, but leaks suggest a shift from glossy to matte texture.

There are rumors that the Pixel 8a will have a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. It might be powered by the Tensor G3 chip, albeit a slightly toned-down version compared to the one in the Pixel 8 series.

Google I/O is coming soon, slated for May 14th. The tech giant is anticipated to unveil the smartphone during the event. Rumors suggest a price hike from the $499 Pixel 7a, potentially disrupting the mid-range phone market in 2024. Its potential impact on claiming the title of the year’s best mid-range phone is uncertain.

Google Pixel 8a in four colors

The four colors are Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Bay (blue), and Mint (pretty self-descriptive). These are very familiar colors for Pixel flagships.

“The Pixel 8a is said to be announced at the Google I/O conference on May 14, according to a leak. There’s over a month left, so we can expect more leaks before then.

The Pixel 8a closely resembles the Pixel 8 in design, with a matte texture on the back. It will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ 90 Hz display. Google’s Tensor G3 SoC will power the phone. Expect a 4,500 mAh battery, a 64 MP main rear camera, and a 13 MP ultrawide camera on the Pixel 8a. Recently, rumors suggest that the Pixel 8a will cost more than the previous model. Google Fi Wireless in the US will offer it. Last week, Google’s carrier might have leaked details about the Pixel 8a.

Google Pixel 8a leaked image details

The rear shot shows the camera ‘visor’ spanning the frame with two sensors and a circular LED flash. The G branding is minimal. The front bezels steal attention, especially the chin, seeming large for the price. Yet, Google might escape criticism due to its software and camera quality. Compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 7a, the bezels on the Pixel 8a aren’t as prominent, though some competitors in Europe and Asia have smaller ones.

It’s uncertain if the teased feature is exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro or if it’ll be on the Pixel 8 too. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to know.

The shade is a teal/mint tone, leaning towards green, or you could say it’s somewhat greenish.

Curious about the word ‘paint’ in that mural? It’s actually “itsaliving,” an artist partnered with Google for a downtown NYC mural set to debut on January 25. Could the new color commemorate this event? Anyway, the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to be identical to the already-released model, differing only in color. Stay tuned to discover if this new hue will have any restrictions, like being exclusively available on the official Google store. We’ll keep you posted.
