Samsung Galaxy A18 4G color options and storage variants tipped online
Samsung is going to launch its budget 4G device, Galaxy A18 4G, in the near future. A new leak has unveiled the color options and storage configurations of this device.
Reliable tipster Roland Quandt revealed that the Galaxy A18 4G will come in three colors: light blue, black, and silver. Storage options are expected to include 128GB and 256GB. However, the RAM variants remain unclear, apart from the 4GB version spotted in testing.
We also got the CAD-based renders of the Galaxy A18, which revealed that the phone will measure roughly 164.4 × 77.8 × 7.84 mm, or 9.74 mm (with the camera bump). This makes it around 0.34mm thicker than the Galaxy A17, while keeping a nearly identical overall size.
The Galaxy A18 4G may feature a 6.7-inch 90 Hz Super AMOLED display. The display would offer the familiar Infinity-U (waterdrop) notch for the selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s 6nm Helio G99 SoC paired with 4 GB of RAM. In Geekbench, this chipset has scored around 744 in single-core and 2,064 in multi-core. The same listing also showed Android 17 with One UI 9.
On the rear panel, it will sport a triple camera setup featuring a 50 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro lens. There is a 13MP selfie camera on the front. The camera setup is similar to the Galaxy A17 4G, though the pill-shaped camera module sits a bit more flush with the panel. It would feature a 5,000mAh battery also.
A Samsung Galaxy A18 5G model may follow the Galaxy A18 4G launch later. The 5G model may arrive with a Qualcomm chipset instead of the Exynos 1330 found in the A17 5G.
