Poco C81 and C81x launched at entry level budget, sale starting from April 27

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has finally launched the Poco C81 and C81x. Poco prices the C81x at INR 9,999 ($105/€90), whereas the Poco C81 costs slightly more at INR 10,999 ($115/€100). Both models will go on sale in India via Flipkart starting April 27.
Poco C81 specifications
The Poco C81 is a 4G smartphone, launched with a 6.9″ 120Hz HD+ LCD with 800 nits HBM brightness. The Poco C81 comes in three color options – Sunset Gold, Sky Blue, and Elite Black.



It is powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB internal storage, and expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. This device runs on Android 16 based on HyperOS 3, with six years of security updates and four major Android upgrades.
The Poco C81 sports a dual-camera setup, featuring a 13MP main camera. On the front, it offers an 8MP selfie camera. A 6,300mAh battery with 15W and 7.5W reverse charging support fuels the C81.
Among other features, there will be an IP52 rating, wet touch support for the display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Poco C81x Specifications
The Poco C81x serves as the entry-level model in the Poco C81 lineup. Compared to the standard C81, it features a different design while offering a smaller display, lower battery capacity, less RAM, and only a single rear camera. Additionally, it comes in two color options: Ice Blue and Crystal Black.


Moreover, the Poco C81x includes a 6.88-inch display with up to 650 nits of HBM brightness. It pairs 3GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and runs on the Unisoc T7250 processor. For photography, it uses a 13MP main camera, while a 5,200mAh battery powers the device. On the software side, it runs Android 15 and will receive two major OS updates along with four years of security updates.
