Oppo A6 Pro Launch with 7000mAh Battery and Durable Design, sale begins on 12 September

Display & Dimension
The Oppo A6 Pro 5G comes with a 6.57-inch 2372x1080px 120Hz OLED with 1,400 nits of peak brightness, which proves the previous leak wrong about the display. It measures 158.16 x 74.99 x 7.96 mm and weighs 190 grams.
Durable Design
This device has an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating for durability and resistance. Oppo states that the A6 Pro can survive drops from 2.5 meters, endure repeated falls from 1.5 meters, and withstand around 1,830 drops from half a meter. The Oppo A6 Pro gets its strength from aviation-grade aluminum in the frame and Crystal Shield glass on the front. This design gives 160% better drop resistance than the previous model.
Performance
Oppo also improved the signal quality of the A6 Pro. It uses a 36-degree surround Shanhai RF Antenna that boosts low-frequency signals by 200%. This upgrade makes reception stronger and more stable. On top of that, the phone can switch to the best network automatically when it detects lag.
The Oppo A6 Pro 5G is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB of RAM, and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. However, it won’t feature any extra SD card slot. Oppo A6 Pro has a 4300 sq mm vapour chamber (VC). It will run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15.
This device features a massive 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Oppo claims the A6 Pro battery stays at 80% health even after 1,830 charging cycles. The phone can charge in extreme cold at -20℃. It also supports fast charging between 0℃ and 43℃ for stable performance.
Camera and Other features
On the camera, it may feature a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP f/1.8 wide-angle main camera + a 2MP secondary sensor. The rear camera panel supports up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, there is a 16MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
On the other features, there will be 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi 6. In terms of sensors, there are an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. The Oppo A6 Pro also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock features for security authentication.
