Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 Max in India. The new smartphone sits below the Edge 70 Signature and above the Edge 70 Pro+ in the lineup. Motorola Edge 70 Max specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 Max features a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The panel also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and up to 7,000 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Motorola pairs the chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.

Motorola Edge 70 Max in durable build

The smartphone packs a massive 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest ever on a Motorola phone. It supports 90W TurboPower wired charging, 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, MagSafe-compatible accessories, and 5W reverse wired charging.

For photography, the Edge 70 Max features a 50MP Sony LYTIA-710 main camera with OIS. It also includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera that doubles as a macro shooter. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The phone runs Android 16 with Hello UX out of the box. Motorola promises three Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

Other highlights include a 5,500mm² vapor chamber, a 29,550mm² cooling system, Wi-Fi 7, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Snapdragon Sound, MIL-STD-810H certification, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Motorola Edge 70 Max price and availability

The Motorola Edge 70 Max starts at ₹54,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹59,999.

The smartphone comes in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Ice Melt, and Pantone Dark Shadow color options. It will go on sale in India starting July 20 through Flipkart, Motorola India’s official website, and authorized offline retail stores.
