iQOO Z12 Turbo/16R to feature a high refresh rate display, active cooling fan

iQOO’s next update is the iQOO Z12 Turbo, which is going to launch in China within a few months. Ahead of the launch, Digital Chat Station leaked several key specs of this device.

The iQOO Z12 Turbo will launch outside the home market as the iQOO 16R. This is the same as the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which is dubbed in the global market as the iQOO 15R.

According to DCS, the iQOO Z12 Turbo will be a mid-range device featuring a 6.59-inch display with an ultra-high refresh rate. It will arrive with an SM8845 Pro processor, which could be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 or 8 Gen 5 Pro. The company is also evaluating a built-in active cooling fan for this device.

In a past leak, DCS also claimed that the iQOO Z12 Turbo will feature a battery with around 10,000mAh capacity. To recall, the iQOO Z11 Turbo launched in January last year with a 6.59-inch 144Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, and a 7,500mAh battery.
