Honor X6e officially launches with a 7,500mAh battery, 120HZ LCD, and 50MP camera
Honor has expanded its growing X6 lineup with the launch of the new Honor X6e in Malaysia. The smartphone joins the Honor X6, X6a, X6b, X6b 4G, X6c, and X6d, while bringing a 7,500mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and 45W fast charging to the budget segment.
Honor X6e specifications and features
The Honor X6e features a 6.61-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,010 nits of peak brightness. Honor powers the X6e with the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
For photography, the phone packs a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, while a 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The device also packs a massive 7,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
Moreover, the Honor X6e carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It has also earned SGS certification for surviving drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 4G connectivity.
Honor X6e price and availability
Honor offers the X6e in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black. The smartphone is priced at MYR 699 (around $170) in Malaysia. Buyers also receive a 45W charger, a protective case, and a pre-installed screen protector inside the box.
