Redmi has confirmed that the K100 Pro will run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V chipset (SM8850-1-AB). According to the company, the smartphone has achieved an impressive AnTuTu score of 4.09 million points.

To enhance gaming performance, Redmi has equipped the K100 Pro with a dedicated graphics chip alongside a 3D circulating cold-pump cooling system for improved heat dissipation during heavy workloads.

The smartphone also features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, making it one of the highest-refresh-rate panels in the flagship segment.

Redmi will offer the K100 Pro in a new Firefly Light Chaser edition that features a glow-in-the-dark finish. The smartphone will also be available in a White color option.

The company has also confirmed that the Redmi K100 Pro will carry a price tag of around CNY 4,000 in China.

Oppo Find X10 Ultra camera leak again

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, Oppo is currently evaluating two different 50MP sensors for the Find X10 Ultra’s second periscope telephoto camera. Both sensors support 10x optical zoom and telephoto macro photography.

The company is reportedly choosing between Samsung’s ISOCELL GNB sensor and OmniVision’s OV51A sensor. Both measure 1/1.95 inches, and Oppo has not made a final decision on which one will make it into the production model.

More camera upgrades expected

Previous leaks also suggest the Find X10 Ultra could feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera for shorter-range zoom. Reports claim Oppo is testing either a 1/1.3-inch or an even larger 1/1.12-inch sensor for that camera, meaning the company is still evaluating multiple hardware options for both telephoto shooters.

For comparison, the current Oppo Find X9 Ultra features a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 50MP 10x periscope camera with a much smaller 1/2.75-inch sensor. If the latest leak proves accurate, the Find X10 Ultra could deliver a noticeable upgrade to its long-range zoom camera.

Since Oppo launched the Find X9 Ultra earlier this year, the Find X10 Ultra is still months away from its official debut. More leaks are expected to reveal additional details in the coming months.

Oppo F35 series India launch tipped

According to a tipster on X, Oppo could launch the F35 series in India either by the end of August or during the first week of September.

The leak does not reveal how many smartphones will join the lineup. However, Oppo is expected to introduce at least two models, following the strategy it adopted with the F33 and F33 Pro.

If the report turns out to be accurate, the F35 series will arrive only around four months after the F33 lineup debuted in April.

Popular tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared the latest promotional images after previously leaking marketing materials for the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The images show that the Pixel 11 Pro retains Google’s familiar design language while introducing a few noticeable changes. The smartphone features the new Pixel Glow RGB LED light on the rear panel, which Google may use for notifications and other visual alerts.

The Vivo S2 features a slim 7.99mm profile with what the company calls an Iconic Camera Design. It sports a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.

Redmi K100 Pro Max gaming performance revealed

Redmi Product Manager Xinxin_Mia shared the benchmark results, which were conducted by reviewer New Technology. According to Redmi, the company has further optimized the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 to deliver more stable gaming performance while reducing power consumption.

Redmi also claims the K100 Pro Max offers around 40% better battery life than its predecessor, even during demanding gaming sessions.

Gaming benchmark results

The Redmi K100 Pro Max delivered stable frame rates across several popular mobile games. In Honor of Kings, the phone maintained an average of 119.7fps while consuming only 3.63W of power. After a 60-minute session, the temperature reached 41.5°C.

The device achieved another 119.7fps average in Peace Elite, drawing 4.09W of power and reaching a peak temperature of 44.4°C. In Delta Force, the smartphone maintained 119.5fps on average while consuming 5.37W, with temperatures climbing to 45.3°C.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max also handled Genshin Impact smoothly. It delivered an average frame rate of 59.9fps while consuming 4.67W of power, and the temperature peaked at 44.1°C.

Honkai: Star Rail pushed the hardware the hardest. Even then, the device averaged 55.6fps, consumed 6.80W of power, and reached a maximum temperature of 52.2°C. Despite the heavier workload, Redmi says the phone maintained stable performance throughout the test.
