Yamaha reveals two sturdy electric bicycles with a top speed of 48km/h. Yamaha has upgraded its electric bicycle lineup by revealing its new Wabash RT as well as CrossCore RC. Both bikes come with the brand new Yamaha PWSeries ST mid-drive motor. Both models are capable of top speeds of 28 mph. Both bikes are constructed on solid frames.
Although the Wabash RT is suitable for off-roading while the CrossCore RC is a conventional road-running electric bike. Yamaha Power and Assist Bicycles are the division that focuses on the manufacturing of Yamaha electric bikes. Its PWSeries ST motor has a capacity of 500W and offers four levels of assist to achieve a top speed of 28 mph. Four sensors, specifically for crank cadence, torque and wheel speed as well as the angle of the bike, are used to constantly calculate and then apply the exact amount of power when riding.
