Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has already started to work on its next flagship smartphone, Redmi K90 Ultra. This flagship smartphone could arrive as a gaming monster, focusing on top-notch performance. Today, Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station shared some key details about the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi K90 on Weibo.
Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra Key specifications tipped on Weibo
According to Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K90 may feature a 165Hz LTPS panel with 1.5K resolution and an Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It may arrive with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC, joined by a dedicated graphics chip to improve rendering and stabilize frame rate.
To handle demanding gaming sessions, Redmi could include a huge battery exceeding 8,000mAh, with some rumors placing the capacity closer to 8,500mAh.
Another notable detail is the inclusion of an active cooling fan inside the phone. As a result, the device can manage heat more efficiently during heavy use. The goal is simple: improve heat dissipation so the phone maintains stable performance during long and intense gaming sessions.
Among other features, it has custom-tuned symmetrical dual speakers, a larger vibration motor for stronger haptic feedback, and IP68-rated water and dust resistance.
If the leak turns out to be accurate, the device could compete with gaming-focused phones like the RedMagic 11 Pro, at least in terms of raw hardware.
The company is still silent about this device. However, according to multiple leaks, the Redmi K90 Ultra may arrive in China in April 2026, potentially carrying a price tag close to flagship smartphones.
