Xiaomi quietly launches the Mi Box 4S MAX with HDMI 2.1 port, 8K support. Xiaomi has quietly released the new Mi Box 4S MAX in China. With 4K capabilities, this is a flagship model of the fourth-generation Xiaomi TV box which was launched in 2018.

This set-top box comes with an affordable price tag of $75 and is now on sale on Jingdong Marketplace (JD). The device accommodates movies, games and more as it’s equipped with an Amlogic S905X3 quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 2.1 HDMI interface.

It also supports 8K hard decoding, Dolby & DTS sound effects, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth voice control that lets you watch movies from your phones or USB drive while also offering support for MIUI TV app with iOS integration.

You can also install games just like most set-top boxes but if you have any prior knowledge of a particular app or game you’re looking for, there is no telling where to find it as this isn’t powered by Google Play Store instead coming with an internal space that can host apps or games indigenous to the TV Box 4S MAX itself.
