Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun today confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will come in the retail box without the charger.
Jun cited environmental protection as a reason for the removal of the charger from Mi 11’s retail box. And said that he’s aware this decision may not go down well with a lot of customers.
A video posted by Jun showing the Mi 11’s box has Chinese text that translates to “Pack light in 2021.”
