Xiaomi 18 Pro prototype appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC

Xiaomi is going to launch the Xiaomi 18 Pro series, featuring the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max at the end of this month. Ahead of the official launch, the company started teasing the series. Today, a Xiaomi 18 Pro prototype appeared on Geekbench 7, revealing its chipset performance on the benchmark.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro model appeared on Geekbench with the model number M154FF. Interestingly, this is a new model-number format for Xiaomi, as the company has traditionally used numbers based on the year and month. While the unusual model number does not necessarily mean the listing is fake, it does make the Geekbench entry worth noting.

Xiaomi 18 Pro prototype Geekbench listing

According to the Geekbench listing, this prototype will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC and 16GB RAM. This device has scored 2,871 in single-core testing and 8,836 in multi-core testing. However, these results should be taken with a grain of salt, as prototype devices may still use unfinished hardware and software.

Moreover, the listing reveals that the CPU will go up to 5.01GHz and will come with Android 17. Previous certifications confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will support 100W wired charging.
