Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 18 Pro series in China recently; surprisingly, they didn’t introduce the vanilla Xiaomi 18 model. According to rumors, the Xiaomi 18 may launch in December this year. Now, a reliable tipster revealed the key specifications of this device on Weibo.
Xiaomi 18 will be a serious camera phone also
According to a Weibo post from the tipster Panda is Bald, Xiaomi 18 base model is going to be a serious camera phone too as its pro models. The leaker claims that this device will also feature a dual 200MP rear camera setup, similar to the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max.
The rear camera setup will include a 1/1.28 inch 200MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
As for other specs, the standard model may offer a 6.4-inchSnapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset and feature a 6.4-inch M11 display with a 1.5K resolution. There will be a 7,200mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging, which surprisingly surpasses the Xiaomi 18 Pro model.
