Xiaomi has officially confirmed the India launch date of the upcoming Xiaomi 17T. The smartphone will debut in the country on June 4, marking the return of Xiaomi’s T-series lineup to India after a long gap.
Earlier this week, Xiaomi confirmed that the global launch of the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro will take place on May 28. However, the company’s India teaser campaign currently focuses only on the standard 17T model. This suggests that the Xiaomi 17T Pro may either launch later in India or skip the market entirely.
Xiaomi 17T series specifications and design
Alongside the launch announcement, Xiaomi also shared official images revealing the design of both smartphones. The standard Xiaomi 17T appears with a slightly smaller form factor, while the Pro model features a larger camera module and display size.
According to leaks, the Xiaomi 17T could feature a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to arrive with a larger 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
Xiaomi will reveal more official details about the lineup ahead of the launch event.
