Xiaomi is on its way to launch the Xiaomi 17 series in China. This device is going to feature three devices- Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. The launch will be held on Thursday, September 25, at 7 PM Beijing time (11 AM UTC). Here we’ve got the first view of these devices along with some key specs.
Xiaomi 17 series key specs (we know so far)
The standard Xiaomi 17 will feature a 6.3-inch flat OLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1.18mm bezels around the screen.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max also feature the same display specifications as their series. All three models will have advanced M10 screen luminescence technology. According to Xiaomi, this upgrade delivers the highest luminous efficiency in the industry at 82.1 cd/A.
The flagship 17 Pro Max introduces a redesigned independent RGB pixel structure, removing the need for traditional “pixel pooling.” This innovation not only enhances visual clarity but also reduces power consumption by 26% compared to standard 2K displays.
Xiaomi confirmed that the 17 Pro models feature the new Jinshajiang battery. It comes with L-shaped stacked packaging and 16% high-silicon content. The battery supports 100W wired charging for faster power delivery.
All three phones will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. They may also ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 pre-installed, ensuring smooth performance from the moment you start using them.
