Walton has officially launched its new mid-range smartphone, the Walton XANON X50, in Bangladesh. The device arrives with a premium feature set including an AMOLED display, a large silicon-carbon battery, and AI-powered smart services. The phone is priced at ৳30,999 + VAT for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
Premium Design, AMOLED Display
The Walton XANON X50 features a 6.7-inch punch-hole AMOLED LTPS display with FHD+ (2400×1080) resolution. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth with 1.07 billion colours, and up to 1000 nits peak brightness, offering vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling.
The display is protected by Panda MN228 glass and achieves a 93% screen-to-body ratio, while a 240Hz touch sampling rate enhances responsiveness during gaming and daily use.
Helio G100 Chipset & Large Memory
The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, built on a 6nm process. It features a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU with Cortex-A76 performance cores and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for improved graphics performance.
The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with support for up to 16 GB of additional memory. Users can further expand storage up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The handset runs Android 16 with Dido OS, offering a range of AI-based features and customisation options.
64MP Sony Camera with 2K Video Recording
In the camera department, the Walton XANON X50 features a 64MP Sony IMX782 main sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and an auxiliary AI camera. The setup supports HDR, Night Mode, Pro Mode, Panorama, and multiple creative shooting options.
The rear camera can record 2K videos with EIS, while the front camera features a 32MP selfie camera that also supports 2K video recording.
6300mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery
One key highlight is the 6300mAh ultra-large silicon-carbon battery, which delivers extended usage time. The device supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C and includes features like bypass charging, AI charging optimization, and low-temperature charging for better battery health.
