Vivo is reportedly working on a new Y-series smartphone for India. The Vivo Y31T is expected to launch soon as a more affordable alternative to the Vivo Y31, bringing a larger battery and a brighter display.
The Vivo Y31T will reportedly feature a 6.75-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution and up to 1,250 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the phone will use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with UFS 2.2 storage.
The Vivo Y31T may be available in 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB configurations. It may pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
For photography, the phone will feature a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 2MP secondary sensor. An 8MP camera will handle selfies and video calls.
The Y31T will measure 8.39mm in thickness and will reportedly carry IP66 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It might arrive in Crimson Red, Gold Mist, and Seashore Green.
The Vivo Y31T may compete with the Oppo A6 5G, so its price could be around INR 26,999 (~$282). Compared with the Vivo Y31, the new model is expected to offer a slightly larger, brighter display and a larger battery.
