Vivo Y31T 5G launched with 7,200mAh battery, 50MP camera, and IP69 rating

Vivo has quietly launched the Vivo Y31T 5G in India as a new mid-range smartphone. It brings a large 7,200mAh battery, a 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera, and IP68/IP69 protection.

The Vivo Y31T 5G features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 1,608 x 720-pixel resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches 1,250 nits of HBM brightness and covers 83% of the NTSC color gamut. It also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

The phone runs on a 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.2GHz. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Extended RAM feature can add up to 6GB of virtual memory through software optimization. The Vivo Y31T 5G runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The Y31T 5G packs a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge. Vivo claims up to 62 hours of music playback, 32 hours of video playback, 10.2 hours of navigation, and 11.4 hours of gaming under laboratory conditions.

For photography, the phone features a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP bokeh sensor. An 8MP camera is available on the front for selfies and video calls.
It also comes with AI features such as AI Erase, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Creation, and AI SuperLink connectivity enhancements. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings and supports underwater photography up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes under specified conditions.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, dual nano-SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Vivo Y31T 5G is available in 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB configurations. It comes in Festive Red, Seashore Green, and Noble Gold colors. Vivo has not yet revealed the pricing of the phone in India.
