Vivo Y20G announced in India

We are aware of the Vivo Y20 flagship. It is a big series of Vivo smartphones. Vivo Y20 has 5 members – Y20, Y20i, Y20s, Y20A, and Y20 (2021). Now Vivo added a new member to this flagship. This new member is Vivo Y20G.

Vivo Y20G Specifications


Vivo Y20G sports a 6.51″HD+ LCD display. It has a notch up top for the 8MP selfie camera.


Chipset, RAM, ROM & OS

The Vivo Y20G has an Helio G80 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot which allows storage expansion by up to 1TB. The smartphone boots Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11. The Y20G features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner claimed to unlock the phone in 0.17 seconds.


Around the back, it has a triple camera setup which is a combination of 13MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor modules.


It has a 5,000mAh battery that charges through a micro USB port at up to 18W.


The smartphone is offered in Obsidian Black and Purist Blue colors.



The Vivo Y20G is manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility in India as part of the ‘Make in India’ program. It’s priced at INR14,990 ($205) and will be sold in India through the company’s local site,, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata Cliq, and offline retail stores across the country. Its availability in other markets remains unknown, though.
