Vivo X500 Pro Max display details leaked on Weibo
According to Vivo’s official Weibo post, the Vivo X500 Pro Max will feature the world’s first BOE Q11 6.85-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution.
The new BOE Q11 luminescent material also brings several improvements. It reportedly cuts motion blur during scrolling by 93% and improves color uniformity by 43%. Vivo claims the panel also delivers 22% better brightness uniformity. Despite these upgrades, the display is said to use 21% less power than the previous-generation 1.5K panel.
The Vivo X500 Pro Max also features a new multispectral sensor under the display. It can detect different color temperatures and light spectra to improve automatic brightness control. Combined with screen dimming down to 0.3 lux, the sensor should allow smoother brightness adjustments in different lighting conditions.
