Vivo is preparing its next flagship lineup, and new leaks are starting to paint a clearer picture of the Vivo X500 series. Earlier reports hinted at multiple display sizes, and now a fresh leak adds more detail, including what appears to be a high-end Pro Max variant.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Vivo X500 lineup could arrive in two main size options: around 6.4 inches and 6.9 inches. The larger model may arrive as the Vivo X500 Max. At the same time, Vivo is said to be testing a mid-sized version with a 6.59-inch display, further expanding the lineup.
Leaks suggest the Pro Max variant uses a 50MP LOFIC primary camera in testing. LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) prevents pixel overexposure in bright scenes by storing excess electrons in a capacitor, which improves dynamic range.
The device may also feature a powerful 200MP periscope telephoto camera for advanced zoom capabilities. Vivo is also testing a multispectral sensor to improve color accuracy and white balance. The setup will likely include a 50MP ultra-wide camera, though the brand has not fully confirmed it yet.
On the performance side, different models could use different chipsets. The standard Vivo X500 might run on the Dimensity 9600. Meanwhile, the top-end variant may feature a more advanced Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. Reports suggest the base chip could use a refined 3nm architecture, while the Pro version may push further with a newer design focused on higher clock speeds and better efficiency.
As for launch timing, the Vivo X500 series may debut in China around September. The event may also introduce Vivo’s first dedicated vlogging camera, adding more excitement to the launch lineup.
