Vivo X300 Ultra supports 4K Log on all lenses with real-time LUT

Vivo has launched its premium flagship device, Vivo X300 Ultra at Mobile World Congress 2026. Now, the brand is revealing additional details about the phone’s video capabilities.

In a post on Weibo, Vivo product manager Han Boxiao highlighted what he describes as the major camera upgrades arriving with the X300 Ultra. He stated that the device is designed to serve as a “pocket camera” for content creators.

Vivo X300 Ultra supports 10-bit Log recording on all three rear cameras

One of the standout features is Vivo’s “no secondary camera” Zeiss Master Lens Trinity system. According to the company, every focal length, from ultra-wide to telephoto, supports 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording. In addition, users can capture 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video, with optical image stabilization available across the entire zoom range for smoother footage.

This uniform performance also extends to video editing. The X300 Ultra includes support for APV 422 professional video encoding, which Vivo says delivers video quality closer to that of dedicated cameras.

The phone also allows Log videos to use both 3D LUTs and custom LUTs in real time during recording. This makes on-the-spot color grading possible. It also supports ACES workflows, allowing creators to integrate footage directly into professional cinema editing systems without complex conversion.

For users who prefer simplicity, Vivo has added two cinematic color options called Film Style and Film Look. These presets provide refined visuals with a single tap, removing the need for manual color correction. Vivo also confirmed that sample photos and videos taken with these modes will be released soon.

For audio, the X300 Ultra features a quad-microphone setup with six specialized recording modes. These modes help focus on the main sound source while minimizing unwanted background noise.

In terms of hardware, the device is expected to feature a 6.82-inch 2K flat display made by BOE, with slim bezels and LTPO technology. It will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and include a large 7,000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
