Vivo X Fold6 leak reveals Dimensity 9500, 200MP camera and 7,000mAh battery

Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X Fold6, the successor of the X Fold5, in the coming months. If the brand follows its usual timeline, the foldable could debut around June. Ahead of any official announcement, new leaks have revealed key details.

Vivo X Fold6 key specs surfaced online

According to Digital Chat Station, the device may feature an 8.02-inch inner UTG display with 2K resolution. On the outside, it could include a 6.51-inch cover screen. The overall size remains close to the Vivo X Fold5, which launched last year with a 6.53-inch cover display and an 8.03-inch inner screen.

The Vivo X Fold6 is expected to feature a 200MP main camera. It may also include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, the device could offer 20MP cameras on both the inner and outer displays.

DCS also unveiled that the Vivo X Fold6 would pack a large 7,000mAh battery with support for wireless charging. It is also expected to come with a full water resistance rating.

Earlier leaks suggested the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chipset, but new information points to the Dimensity 9500 powering the Fold6. This marks a shift in chipset strategy for Vivo’s foldable lineup.

More details should surface soon as the expected launch timeline approaches.
