Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X Fold6 in China. The new foldable brings several major upgrades over its predecessor, including a 200MP ZEISS camera, a massive 7,000mAh battery, and the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset. It also introduces improved durability, brighter displays, and new multitasking features.
120HZ AMOLED Foldable display
The phone features a 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display and an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED inner display. Both panels support a 120Hz refresh rate and reach up to 5,000 nits peak brightness.
Flagship ZEISS Camera setup
The biggest highlight of the vivo X Fold6 is its 200MP ZEISS main camera, which uses Samsung’s large 1/1.4-inch HPB sensor. Vivo pairs it with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP ZEISS periscope telephoto camera based on Sony’s LYT-602 sensor with 3x optical zoom. The foldable also supports the optional ZEISS Teleconverter G2, extending the zoom range to 200mm for long-distance photography.
Powerful Processor and interactive OS
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It runs OriginOS 6 Fold based on Android 16 and introduces the new Atomic Workbench feature, allowing users to run up to five apps simultaneously in separate windows.
Largest ever battery in a foldable smartphone
The X Fold6 packs a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, making it the largest battery ever used in a foldable smartphone. It supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging while increasing capacity by 1,000mAh over the previous generation.
Vivo has also improved durability with IP58/IP59 dust and water resistance, protecting the phone against dust and high-pressure water.
