The Vivo S12 series is now official, including a standard S12 and a larger, more powerful S12 Pro. Both have Dimensity chipsets and twin selfie cameras with dual-LED flashes. According to the firm, the moments can be manually tuned to any color between 3000K and 6000K.
Vivo S12 and S12 Pro arrive with impressive selfie cameras
The standard Vivo S12 has a 6.44″ AMOLED display. It has a 1080p resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The display supports HDR10+, and the notch houses a 44MP f/2.0 wide camera and an 8MP f/2.3 ultra-wide camera.
On a Dimensity 1100 chipset, the Vivo S12 runs OriginOS Ocean, with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. A 108MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture lens is mounted on the rear. An 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and a 2MP f/2.4 portrait camera sit next.
The battery has a capacity of 4,200mAh and can be charged at up to 44W via wire. The standard 8/256GB trim of the Vivo S12 costs CNY2,799, while the 12/256GB trim costs CNY2,999. Gold, Blue, and Black are the three colors available.
Vivo S12 Pro
This phone features a Density 1200 and a larger 6.56″ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It sports a 50MP f/2.0 primary front camera and the same 8MP f/2.3 ultrawide camera as the iPhone X.
The back camera system is identical to the S12, with a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. The S12 Pro’s increased dimensions allowed for a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery to be installed. However, with up to 44W, the charging speed is unaffected.
Gold, Blue, and Black are the three colors available. The 8/256GB model costs CNY3,399, while the 12/256GB model costs CNY3,699 in China. The duo’s first sale is set for December 30.
