Two Black Shark 5 models appear on TENAA certification. Black Shark 5 series is due to arrive in the near future. Traditionally, Xiaomi launched its first gaming phones in March. Two devices, the Black Shark 5 Pro and Black Shark 5 Pro spotted on TENAA.

While TENAA doesn’t reveal the exact chipset, it is probable that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor will be the 3.0GHz.

The RAM listed is 8/12/16GB and storage is either 256GB or512GB. The main camera will be 108MP and the front-facing camera will have a 13MP. This is significantly lower than the Black Shark 4’s twentyMP camera. We expect the battery to have a 4,650mAh capacity, and it will retain the 120W fast charge from its predecessors.

Black Shark 5 has a 3.2GHz CPU. This is most likely the Snapdragon 870 chipset. It has a 64MP main camera, 8GB or 12GB RAM. The storage options 128GB or 2256GB, and the 4,650mAh battery shared among the new phones. We are still waiting for the phones to released. During the event we will also learn how Tencent involved in the gaming brand’s acquisition in January.
