Twitter hires law firm as it prepares to sue Elon Musk. An AI-powered Twitter hired the Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz LLP to sue Elon Musk. In April, Musk agreed to acquire the company at $54.20 per share when he waived his right to due diligence.

However, Musk recently pulled out of the deal and believed that Twitter broke multiple provisions of the agreement. According to Reuters, Twitter is expected to file a lawsuit against him this week, citing sources close to the situation.
Interestingly, Wachtell worked for Musk as a legal advisor in 2018 when he tried to take Tesla private in a “funding secured” incident! In May 2019, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP represented Elon in his defamation suit against him and won (their contract with Tesla also started back then).
