Tecno has officially expanded its Spark 50 lineup with the launch of the new Tecno Spark 50 Pro. The smartphone arrives with a refreshed design, flagship-inspired styling, enhanced durability, and several AI-powered features. One of its biggest highlights is the IP68 and IP69 rating, making it one of the more rugged devices in its segment.
Design and Display
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro features a redesigned rear panel with a large camera island that takes inspiration from Apple’s recent Pro-series iPhones. Despite the multi-camera appearance, the module houses a single primary camera sensor.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Tecno has also included dual DTS stereo speakers for an improved multimedia experience. Another major highlight is its IP68 and IP69 certifications, offering advanced protection against dust and water.
Performance, Camera, and Battery
Powering the Spark 50 Pro is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Spark 50 Pro runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
It also includes Tecno’s AI suite, featuring tools such as Ella AI Agent, AI Writing, AI Health Assistant, and AI Noise Cancellation for calls.
For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.
Tecno is offering two battery versions depending on the market. The device comes with either a 5,600mAh battery or a larger 6,000mAh battery, and both variants support 60W wired fast charging. The company also claims that the battery will retain more than 80% of its original capacity even after six years of daily use.
The device is available in Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Dynamic Orange, and Cloud White color options. Tecno has not yet revealed the official pricing and availability details for the Spark 50 Pro.
