Tecno has officially launched the Tecno Pop 20 globally. This expands its budget smartphone lineup, focusing on a smooth display, long battery life, and the latest Android version for entry-level users.
Design and Display
The Tecno Pop 20 comes in four attractive colour options: Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Aurora Purple, and Galaxy Blue. The phone measures 167.7 × 77.8 × 8.10mm, maintaining a slim and lightweight profile suitable for daily use.
On the front, the device features a 6.75-inch Dot Notch display with HD+ resolution (720 × 1600 pixels). One of the standout highlights is the 120Hz refresh rate. This feature promises smoother scrolling and animations, which is a rare feature in this budget segment.
Processor & Performance
Out of the box, the Tecno Pop 20 runs on Android 15, offering the latest system features, improved security, and better performance optimization. The smartphone is powered by the UNISOC T7250 processor. This chip is designed to handle everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and video playback efficiently.
In terms of memory, the Tecno Pop 20 is available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. Both are paired with 8GB RAM, which includes 4GB of extended virtual RAM to enhance multitasking performance.
Camera, battery and Connectivity
For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera supported by a dual rear flash. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and casual selfies.
The device packs a 5000 mAh battery, ensuring all-day use on a single charge. It supports 15W fast charging through a USB Type-C port, making charging more convenient for users.
Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, and 4G network support, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, and OTG. Additionally, features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, software gyroscope, and an infrared remote control add extra value to the device.
Market Availability
Tecno has also clarified its recent launches. The company confirmed that the Tecno Spark Go 3 has already been introduced in the Bangladesh and India markets, while the Tecno Pop 20 is aimed at the global market. Furthermore, pricing and regional availability details are expected to be announced soon.
