Tecno launched its Camon 50 series last month, including Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro. While we heard about a third device, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra, which has finally launched today. Major highlights of this device are- a 144Hz AMOLED panel, a huge 6,500mAh battery, a triple camera setup featuring dual 50MP sensors, top-level endurance, and protection.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra Specifications
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution, HDR10 support, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner as well. It will launch in multiple color options, including Orange, Green, Purple, and Black.
The device features a premium glass-sandwich design with curved edges and Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the rear. The Camon 50 Ultra 5G also carries MIL-STD-810 certification and offers up to an IP69K dust and water resistance rating.
The Camon 50 Ultra is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate SoC, and paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs Android 16-based HiOS 16 and is promised to receive up to 3 OS upgrades.
On the rear panel, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra features a triple camera setup including a 50MP wide main camera, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS support, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It will have a 50MP autofocus selfie camera on the front.
The Camon 50 Ultra arrives with a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging and bypass charging support as well. Among other specs, it includes 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, dual speakers, and FM Radio.
Currently, pricing and availability remain unconfirmed; however, the phone may start around €400 in the EU.
