Stripping away the glass back reveals the large copper charging pad which helps the Mi 11 top up wirelessly at up to 50W speeds. We also get to see plenty of green-tinted screws in the top half of the phone which is interesting to see.

When you take a look on the camera island then we can see that the camera island is made from metal on the inside. Getting to the 4,600mAh battery we can see it’s actually made up of two separate parts that are wrapped together. The two cell structure allows for faster recharge speeds than traditional one-piece battery packs.

The speaker is located near the bottom of the device and packs thousands of tiny sound dampening foam balls. The speaker is also waterproof. Going back to the top half of the phone we can see the back of the motherboard packs plenty of copper. Also, The proximity sensor is placed under the display.

This teardown is a little different from Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything fame. Realme’s people are probably trying to show more care towards the device, hence the use of a heating plate for example.

The result is the same, though. We get to see the insides of the phone. At the same time we’re also told how the R&D process for the X7 Pro took around eight months with an additional 400 hours of color tuning. And if you like hearing the phrase “leading camera setup”, then you definitely enjoyed the video.

Frame & Fingerprint sensors

Let`s take a look at the back frame. The frame of the Redmi Note 9 4G and 5G model made with plastic, while the Pro 5G used glass.  Taking a look underneath we find the 4G model has its heat dissipation film on its back cover while the 5G models have theirs above the batteries. We can also observe the fingerprint cable connectors going to the motherboard and the integrated antennas. The 5G models have a higher antenna count which was to be expected.

Camera

Guys now take a look at camera formation. The 4G models camera setup consists of three separate rear camera modules. But the 5G models have a binding formation of four camera modules on the camera shield.

Chipset and storage

The chipset and storage area are on the top of the motherboard covering with copper foil. Removing the foil gives us a clear shot of all three chipsets with the Qualcomm’s sitting in the right corners of the motherboard while the Mediatek is on the top right side.

Battery

The 5G model has a 5000mAh power-cell, the Pro has a 4820mAh battery cell. Then these two 4G model is in top place in battery power. It contains a 6000mAh monster cell to run the whole device.
