The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 has surfaced in a fresh set of CAD-based renders, shared by Android Headlines with OnLeaks. These early visuals offer a detailed preview of Samsung’s next-generation foldable flagship. This comes ahead of its expected Q3 2026 launch. At first glance, the design looks familiar, continuing Samsung’s refined foldable phone. However, there are some subtle yet meaningful changes.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 will be slightly thicker than its predecessor, the Fold7. However, this increase in thickness appears to be intentional. It allows Samsung to introduce significant hardware improvements. Even so, the device is still expected to maintain a slim profile. It will measure around 4.5mm when unfolded and 9mm when folded. The hinge mechanism is also tipped to receive durability upgrades. Meanwhile, the foldable display could feature a less noticeable crease, enhancing the overall user experience.
Bigger Displays & Flagship Performance
In terms of display, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is expected to have a large 8.0-inch internal foldable screen. It is paired with a 6.5-inch external cover display.
